Bohemian Rhapsody on Classical Guitar
February 25th, 2007Edgar Cruz plays Bohemian Rhapsody for solo guitar. I’ve listened to many versions of this song done on the classical guitar and I can say this stands out as the best. Great performance and good instruction at the end of the video.
About Bohemian Rhapsody:
The song was written by Freddie Mercury, originally recorded by the band Queen for their 1975 album “A Night at the Opera”. The song is composed of six distinct sections - introduction, ballad, guitar solo, opera, rock, and an outro. This format, replete with sudden changes in style, tone, and tempo, was abnormal to rock music at the time. The song is in the style of a rock opera, and has a very remarkable musical structure for popular music.
