I’ve never heard of Lori Linstruth before seeing this video. Being hot and being wicked on the guitar is something that we appreciate here at Fretcam.com :)

Lori was first seen in the late eighties while playing in the LA band Warbride. According to Wikipedia, she also got some exposure from the Guitar Player magazine “Spotlight” column.

Check out the video. She plays some arpeggios and teaches a solo from the Stream of Passion album.

About her current band Stream of Passion:

Around 2004, Linstruth became involved in Arjen Lucassen’s latest project Stream of Passion, a progressive metal band. Because the musicians in the band lived thousands of miles apart, Lucassen composed the group’s debut album, Embrace the Storm, over the internet. They toured extensively in 2005 and 2006. A short and most probably final tour is planned for early 2007.
